This course teaches the fundamentals of Greek and the steps of serious New Testament exegesis. It explains how to use linguistic tools, including software programs. It includes Power Point presentations with pronunciation of Greek vocabulary and exercises in grammar. As the student progresses, he does his own exegesis of a New Testament verse and prepares a report on his findings. This course gives a brief survey of the Old Testament, examining the themes of “Kingdom, Covenants and Canon.” It shows how the Old Testament is unified around the central theme of the kingdom of God, which was administered through covenants and applied to life through the Old Testament Canon.
